As an additive to chemical processes:

1. Mix bleach or colour thoroughly first before adding and mixing OLAPLEX No.1. Add more bleach powder if consistency is too thin.
2. Add 1.85ml of No.1 to everything including base colour, gloss, toner, any quantity of bleach for balayage, or when using under 30g of bleach powder for highlighting in foils. Use 3.75ml when mixing 30g or more of bleach powder for bleaching in foils.
3. Proceed with service as normal
4. After rinsing lightener or colour from hair, towel-dry and do not apply shampoo or conditioner
5. Apply a generous amount of No.2 Bond Perfector from roots to ends. Comb through thoroughly
6. Leave on for a minimum of 10 minutes
7. Rinse from hair, then shampoo and condition

As a stand-alone treatment:

1. Add 15ml of OLAPLEX No.1 to 90ml of water into a non-spraying applicator bottle
2. At the basin, apply evenly to clean, dry hair or damp, towel-dried hair. Saturate hair thoroughly
3. Leave on for 5 minutes. Do no rinse.
4. Apply a generous amount of OLAPLEX No.2 from root to end. Work through for even distribution.
5. Leave for 1 minutes. Rinse thoroughly
6. Cleanse hair with No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and Condition with No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner
7. Style as usual
