We will continue to stay up-to-date with the recommended steps, and evolve our response to keep our customers, team members and community safe.
Across our team, we are enforcing personal hygiene practices that are most effective at combating viruses, such as hand washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, reducing personal contact during greetings and at meetings, providing digitised deals and brochures as well as asking team members who are feeling ill in any way to stay home.
You may find our sales team are telephoning or emailing you as a first point of contact over the coming weeks to assist in maintaining government recommendations around social distancing. We are taking all reasonable steps to ensure that we maintain supply to you, so that you’re able to safely maintain your business through this period of uncertainty.
We are also asking that those who are feeling unwell refrain from attending our offices, stores, or having face to face contact with our team members. In this circumstance please call or email your sales representative or customer service to ensure we get products and important information to you.
In addition, we would recommend that when confirming appointments with your clients you are asking that they are fit and well and confirming that they have not recently travelled overseas in the last 14 days or been exposed to people carrying Coronavirus.
UPDATED HYGIENE PRACTICES
While we have always had strict cleanliness practices at Haircare, we have implemented additional precautionary measures:
- We have educated all our team members on the importance of increased hygiene practices.
- We will ensure that our team sanitise their hands as they enter and exit each salon.
- We ask that we both reduce personal contact during our visits: at greetings, we avoid hugging, handshakes etc, each use our own pen and we’ll send sales materials to you digitally.
- We are increasing our disinfectant cleaning across all our stores and distribution centres.
The Gauvin family are regularly reviewing Haircare’s policies and practices as the situation develops, and we will communicate any changes to you as they come to hand.
