DELIVERING AN OPPORTUNTY FOR STYLISTS TO GO BEYOND THE CHAIR
Five stylists from around Australia went beyond the chair and experienced the world of editorial styling, care of Moroccanoil.
They attended what was truly a Gold Styling Experience, where they got the opportunity to flex their creativity in a professional studio, with renowned photographer Michelle Tran behind the lens and being guided by hair authority Peter Beckett, Creative Director of Haircare Group.
The stylists were selected for their entries in the Moroccanoil Eurovision Gold Styling Experience for their creativity, technique, and theming. A competition that was devised to identify styling talent from around the nation and to celebrate Moroccanoil as presenting partner of the Eurovision Song Contest.
The concept for the shoot was created to inspire and empower, with looks showcasing a modern take on 70’s disco. The result, an editorial collection of images, that exude elegance and luxe with a contemporary edge.
Once the looks were complete, each of the team experienced what it was like to be hands-on at a professional editorial shoot, working with photographer, Michelle Tran, helping to direct the model and getting onto set to adjust the hair to get the perfect shot.

Director and Senior Stylist at Stellar Salon, Coolangatta. Rhiannon is an artist when it comes to styling. Her education includes 21 years in the industry, and continuous colour courses. Rhiannon draws inspiration from art, music, and fashion to deliver her own brand of hair.
